The Austin Shakespeare Festival (ASF) is thrilled to present a silent auction (Louise Hirschfeld, wife of the late Al Hirschfeld, will be in attendance and has graciously donated a signed lithograph featuring Olivier, Gielgud and other great Shakespearean actors in some of their most famous roles). Below is a list of the artists, people who've donated pieces, as well as pictures of the items that will be auctioned off.

Ed Kliman

Ed Kliman

1 Hour Musical Performance

$100.00

Ed Kliman's 35 year musical career reads like a John Steinbeck novel, from busking for spare change on street corners in his teens to  sitting in with the Duke Ellington Orchestra.  Along the way, his music has been featured at events for Mardi Gras and Kentucky Derby, licensed for National Public Radio, Public Broadcasting and Canadian television, won newspaper and magazine awards from Detroit to Norway, bootlegged in Russia and earned radio airplay from Boston to Buenos Aires.  He is currently the musical director for the Austin
Shakespeare Festival.  The private performance he has donated for
this auction would be a perfect complement to any dinner party,
backyard BBQ, wedding or other event.

10” x 13” Collage

$300

For Sue Gilliam, the end result is a series of realistic pictures of animate and inanimate objects. She uses paper from common catalogs and magazines as a media and saves the pieces that trigger her imagination. (from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) News;  July 27, 2006
Sue Gilliam's' Butterfly's Bounty uses the technique of spraying watercolors onto real pressed flowers on paper, then removed and painted.  Her works have displayed at River Place Country Club, Austin-Bergstrom Airport, South First Artwalk,
