The Austin Shakespeare Festival (ASF) is proud to present Shakespeare Unplugged a rotating repertory of Shakespeare's early classic Titus Andronicus and his late masterpiece The Winter's Tale in condensed "Bare Bard" versions featuring Austin's best actors and most innovative directors and designers.

"This is a great opportunity to see Titus Andronicus, one of Shakespeare's most rarely performed plays. A brutal and horrific tragedy about honor, revenge and retribution, this production, directed by Elena Araoz, features excellent performances throughout, and is not to be missed." Says ASF Artistic Director Guy Roberts. "The Winter's Tale, directed by Robert Faires with an equally impressive cast, is a powerful story of human frailty and the terrible dangers of absolute power. Considered by many to be one of Shakespeare's most spiritual plays, it will leave audiences deeply moved and believing in the restorative power of time, faith, and forgiveness."
