Austin Shakespeare returns to Parker Jazz Club with a 1940s Hit Parade cabaret. Singers Pamela Hart, Sebastian Vitale and Torri Baker perform favorites like “Besame Mucho,” “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered,” “Rum and Coca-Cola,” and “That Old Black Magic.” Music Director Dan Redner (The Beatles Cabaret, Ella Fitzgerald Song Books) returns to lead the ensemble and play the piano. Bass and drums round out the performers in this evening of high-energy, complex dynamic music.
