ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER (Romeo and Juliet)
Work period: Monday April 20 - June 9, 2024
Rehearsals: Monday through Thursday from 7-10 pm, Saturdays from 1-4 pm, and Sundays from 5-9 pm until tech and performances
Performances: Thursdays through Sundays, 8 pm curtain, May 23 - June 9, 2024
Weekly pay: $334 under an AEA-SPT1 contract (union membership is not required)

PROPS DESIGNER (Young Shakespeare’s Richard III)
Seeking a properties designer for our Young Shakespeare Program’s production of Richard III being performed at Austin’s The Curtain Theatre (7400 Coldwater Canyon Drive, Austin, TX 78730). Rehearsals begin on May 20, 2024 and the show closes on June 9, 2024.

LIGHT & SOUND BOARD OPERATORS
Seeking light and sound board operators for both of our upcoming shows at The Curtain Theater (RTS 2222/360 off City Park Rd). The Curtain Theatre is an Elizabethan outdoor theater approximately one-third the size of the Globe Theatre in London. Operators could be hired for one or both shows:
ROMEO AND JULIET (Free Shakespeare): Dates needed are May 20-June 9 (tech and shows)
RICHARD III (Young Shakespeare): Dates needed are June 17-30 (tech and shows)
Persons applying for these positions should have some experience in minor adjustments/repairs (e.g., changing a lamp in lighting equipment) and execution of the responsibilities in their respective role (e.g., Sound is executed through QLab). These are paid positions.
